EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON DRYING KINETICS
OF SOLID PARTICLES IN FLUIDIZED BED

Abstract. Based on experimental results on kinetics of silica gel
polytetra-fluoroethylene, sand and ammonium sulphate drying in fluidized
bed and a correlation equation for the mean gas solid heat transfer coefficient
in the constant-drayng-rate period a kinetics equation is proposed for
both characteristic drying periods. The suitability of introducing the
shape factor of the solid particle into the kinetic equation is shown.

SUŠENJA ČVRSTIH ČESTICA
U FLUIDIZOVANOM SLOJU
U radu je data jednačina kinetike sušenja za oba karakteristična perioda
sušenja, na osnovu eksperimentalnih rezultata sušenja silikagela, politetra
fluornog etilena, peska i amonijum sulfata u fluidizovanom sloju. Uvedena
je korelaciona jednačina za odredjivanje koeficijenta prelaza toplote gas
- čvrste čestice u konstantnom periodu sušenja. Ukazuje se na pogodnost
uvodjenja faktora oblika čestica u jednačinu kinetike.
