INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS

Papers submitted for publication may be written in English, French, German or Russian (preferably in English). The text should be concise. By the rule, papers exceeding 15 typewritten pages, will not be published. Papers may contain sections and subsections only. Manuscripts must be single-sided and typed using double space only. At the beginning of the paper, under the title, the name(s) of the author(s) ought to be given. At the end of the paper the name(s) of the author(s) with degree and academic tittles, and the exact address with company or institute affiliation ought to be given. Each paper should accompany a brief summary (50--150 words) written in the same language.

References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript, using the form of the following examples (for a book, a paper in a journal, a paper in a contributed volume and for an unpublished paper, respectively):

R. Gregorian and G. C. Temes: Analog MOS Integrated Circuits for Signal Processing, Wiley, New York, 1986.

J. K. Cavers: An analysis of pilot symbol assisted modulation for Rayleigh fading channels, IEEE Trans. Vehicular Tech., vol. 40, No. 4, pp.686--693, Nov. 1991.

D. M. Martinez and J. S. Lim: Spatial interpolation of interlaced television pictures, In: Proc. IEEE Int. Conf. Acoust., Speech, Signal Processing, Glasgov, Scotland, Apr. 1989, pp. 1886--1889.

A. G. Deczky: Computer aided synthesis of digital filters in the frequency domain, Ph. D. dissertation, Swiss Federal Inst. Tech., Zurich, Switzerland, 1973.

References should be quoted in the text by giving the corresponding number in square brackets.

Three copies of the manuscript in the above form should be submitted to the Editor of the Series. Upon the completion of the manuscript it is preferable that the author submit his manuscript in electronic form using \TeX with figures in either CDR or PCX format, because it will accelerate the publication of the submitted manuscript.

Galley proofs will be sent to authors. Authors will be charged for alternations in excess of 10\% of the cost of the composition.

Fifty reprints without covers will be provided free of charge. Additional reprints may be purchased.
