WASTE GLASS AS ADDITIVE TO CLAYEY MATERIAL IN SUBGRADE AND EMBANKMENT OF ROAD PAVEMENT

In this paper the possibility of using waste glass in road construction is discussed. Samples of clay material with the addition of waste glass were subjected to a series of laboratory geotechnical tests performed at the Laboratory of Geotechnics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Niš. The obtained results were compared with criteria defined in the document “General technical requirements for road construction”. On this basis, the conclusions on the suitability of this mixture for the intended purpose are given.

OTPADNO STAKLO KAO DODATAK GLINOVITOM MATERIJALU U POSTELJICI I NASIPU KOLOVOZNE KONSTRUKCIJE PUTEVA
U radu je razmatrana mogućnost upotrebe otpadnog stakla u nosećim slojevima kolovozne konstrukcije puteva. Uzorci glinovitog materijala sa dodatkom otpadnog stakla su podvrgnuti nizu laboratorijskih geotehničkih ispitivanja u Laboratoriji za geotehniku na Građevinsko-arhitektonskom fakultetu u Nišu. Dobijeni rezultati su upoređeni sa kriterijumima definisanim u dokumentu “Opšti tehnički uslovi za izvođenje radova na izgradnji puteva”. Na osnovu toga dati su zaključci o podobnosti ove mešavine za predviđenu namenu.
